🔪 INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Prepare Your Oven and Baking Sheet: Preheat your oven to 350F/180C. Simultaneously, line your baking sheet using parchment paper.
Step 2
Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, blend all your ingredients. However, if you plan on using raisins, hold off on adding them at this stage. They will be incorporated into the granola after it’s baked.
Step 3
Spread and Bake: Evenly spread your mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and pop it into the oven. Allow it to bake for roughly ten minutes.
Step 4
Stir and Continue Baking: After the initial ten minutes of baking, remove your baking sheet from the oven. Using a spoon or spatula, give your granola a good stir, then return it to the oven for an additional eight minutes.
Step 5
Cool and Store: Once done with baking, let your pumpkin spice granola cool down completely. When it’s at room temperature, transfer it into an airtight container for storage. At this point, if you’ve kept aside raisins, add them to the granola.
👩🏽🍳 PRO TIPS
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven for 30 minutes before baking.
Use parchment paper: Line your baking sheet with parchment paper. This not only makes clean-up easier but it also helps to prevent the granola from sticking to the pan.
Don’t add raisins early: If you’re using raisins or any other dried fruit, don’t add them in with the other ingredients. Instead, add them to the granola after it’s out of the oven. This will keep the fruit from getting too hard or burnt.
Mix thoroughly: Make sure to mix all the ingredients well before spreading them on your baking sheet. This will ensure that the flavors are well-distributed throughout the granola.
📋 VARIATIONS
Go Nutty: Increase the quantity of chopped walnuts and peanuts to two tablespoons each.
A Touch of Chocolate: For the chocolate lovers, you can add a handful of dark chocolate chips to the granola mixture after it’s cooled down.
Make it Tropical: If you love tropical flavors, try replacing the raisins with a quarter cup of dried pineapple and coconut flakes.
Sweet and Tart: If you enjoy a balance of sweet and tart flavors, try adding dried cranberries instead of raisins. The tartness of the cranberries will contrast beautifully with the sweet honey and molasses.

💬 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes, you can substitute honey and molasses with other sweeteners like maple syrup or agave nectar. It’s all about personal preference.
If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice mix, you can make your own by combining ground spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice.
Raisins are added later to prevent them from burning in the oven. If baked for too long, they can become hard and lose their sweetness.
