Pan Fried Fish – If you are looking for an easy, quick, and delicious meal look no further. Making this healthy and flavorful dinner will take 10 minutes of your time.
Fish is a delicate meat and is cooked in just few minutes. When cooking fish, it’s best to use less amount of oil and spices, that way you can enjoy the flavor of the fish without masking it with other flavors.
How to Make Pan Fried Fish
To make a good pan fried fish, it has to be fillet, no bones and no skin. A good nonstick pan is essential, you don’t want the fish to stick to the pan and lose most of it.
Do not overcook the fish. Fish is a tender meat and people tend to overcook it, two to three minutes are usually enough to cook one side of the fish, maybe a little longer if the cut is thick.
As mentioned above a little amount of spices and a mixture of oil and butter to fry will give you the best pan fried fish!

This pan fried fish recipe is great for dinner or lunch, it is light and low in calories and usually I serve it with Mujadara or roasted potatoes. Mujadara is a Middle-Eastern side dish, made of green lentils, caramelized onion, and rice.
I have tried this recipe with different types of fish and it always comes out delicious. This fish recipe is forgiving and I have a feeling that all the ingredients needed are already in your kitchen.
To coat the fish I am using all-purpose flour but I have also used corn meal and whole wheat flour in coating this fish and the outcome was great every time.
