Ingredients

  • **Dry Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • ¼ roughly chopped peanuts
  • ¼ cup sliced or roughly chopped almonds
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • Pinch of salt
  • **Wet ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
  • Line 8x8 inch square pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix the dry ingredients until well combined.
  • Mix the wet ingredients until well combined.
  • Mix wet and dry ingredients until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture in the lined baking pan. Distribute evenly using the back of a spatula or spoon.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Let the granola cool. Cut to even bars using a serrated knife.
