Chicken Kabab

chicken kebab 2It’s easy to make these Kababs, if you have all the ingredients it will hardly take an hour, preparing and cooking. One thing you have to be careful with and that is SALT, minced chicken take very little salt, I’d say a pinch or two will be enough, still your taste play a big role.

I have used different spices for this recipe, but feel free to modify it, there were times when I made these kababs using only two spices and it turned out good. They are great as sandwiches, and can top them with yogurt, ketchup, or serve with salad.

 500gm minced chicken
1 green chili
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1 1/2 tablespoons yogurt
1 minced onion
2 minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped mint
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 tablespoons olive oil
Salt to taste

  • Preheat oven to 400F/200C.
  • Mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
  • The kababs are going to be runny, spoon and shape them in a non stick baking pan for 25- 30 minutes. Turn off the oven when ready and turn on the broiler for 2 minutes to give the kabab a nice light brown color.
