Chicken with Mushroom and Brown lentils
Serves 2. 388 calories per serving.
1/2 cup Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce
2 skinless chicken thighs cut into bite sizes (56gm each)
1 cup mushroom chopped
1 scallion chopped
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon butter
1/2 cup boiled brown lentils
1/4 cup hot water
– In a hot pan, add the butter and olive oil. Add the chicken and cook until the chicken gets light brown patches.
– Add the mushrooms. When the mushrooms turn brown add the scallion. Stir until the mushroom is thoroughly cooked. Add Ragú® sauce and stir.
– Add hot water and the boiled lentils. Season with black pepper and salt. When it starts to bubble turn off heat.
